nubia Z11 with 5.5-inch display, 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 SoC gets official


ZTE sub brand nubia has officially announced the Nubia Z11, finally closing the circle of the Z11 family, that also includes Z11 mini and Z11 Max. It has zero bezels on the side and sports a premium aluminum body that's 7.5mm thin. It has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

The nubia Z11 features 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) bezel-less display with 2.5D curved glass on top and is powered by the powerful quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor backed by Adreno 530 GPU and 6GB RAM. On-board storage is 128GB, which can be further increased via microSD card (up to 200GB). There is also a cheaper model with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It runs Android Marshmallow based nubia 4.0.

For photography, it gets 16-megapixel Sony IMX298 camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, OIS and PDAF for faster focus. For clicking selfies and video calling there's 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.4 aperture.

It comes with hybrid dual-SIM slots, which means the second SIM slot can be used either as microSD card slot or SIM slot. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE w/ VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual band w/ MIMO, Bluetooth 4. GPS, NFC and USB Type-C It is fueled by 3000mAh battery with NeoPower fast charging technology.

The nubia Z11 has been priced at CNY 3499 ($526 | Rs.35,750) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 4GB + 64GB model costs CNY 2499 ($375 | Rs. 25,500). The nubia Z11 will go on sale starting July 6.

The 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variations has been priced at an approx price are Rs. 25,00, while the other variant featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage carries an approx price are Rs. 35,000.
