Possible Samsung Galaxy Note 7 teaser hints at curved edge screen

Recent reports have claimed that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note series phablet will be called Galaxy Note 7 instead of Galaxy Note 6, to bring the series at par with the flagship Galaxy S lineup. It is also being rumored that the Galaxy Note 7 will have a dual curved edge display.

Now, a possible Galaxy Note 7 teaser has surfaced online. If the teaser image is legit, the Galaxy Note 7 will have a curved screen on both sides. That's not all, the teaser says "Write on the edge of something great" and the stylus is positioned at the phone's curved screen, which indicates that users will be able to write on the edge screen.

It's worth mentioning that Samsung had recently patented for a similar feature. The patent suggested that the edge panel would be sensitive to S Pen (Samsung's Note series stylus) offering seamless writing experience on the edge screen to the users, just like a regular screen would.

As for the specs, rumors suggest that Galaxy Note 7 will have a 5.8-inch QHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 823 SoC, 6GB RAM, 12MP dual-pixel rear camera, Iris scanner, water-resistant body, USB Type-C and runs Android Marshmallow. The Galaxy Note is expected to be unveiled in the first week of August.
