Acer TravelMate X349 14-inch Windows 10 notebook announced starting at $649

Acer introduced its new TravelMate X3 series business laptop with the launch of TravelMate X349. The notebook is made of all-aluminum chassis with brushed metal design and has a sleek profile with 18mm waist line and weighs 1.53kg. It also has a 180 degree hinge that allows you to fold the display so that it’s level with the keyboard.

The Acer TravelMat X349 has a 14-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and can be confirgured with up to 6th gen Intel Skylake processors, up to 8GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD. It runs Windows 10 Pro and comes with fingerprint scanner, Windows Hello support for password-free biometric authentication, LED backlit keyboard and a precision touchpad.

Other features include HD webcam, a USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port,a USB Type-C port and support for an optional docking station that lets you connect up to two 4K displays.

The Acer TravelMate X349 will be available in North America in October with prices starting at $649.99; in EMEA and China in September with prices starting at €480 and ¥5,999 respectively.
