Google continues to make improvements to its Maps app.The v9.32 of Maps app brings new features like WiFi only mode and ability to get notifications when mass transit is delayed.

In the updated Maps app, you'll now see a new 'WiFi Only' options in the settings menu which replaced the 'Offline Areas". By enabling the WiFi option, the app will stop using mobile data and instead load majority of its data via WiFi. When WiFi mode is enable for the fast time it shows a a quick reminder that Maps may still use a "small amount of data".

The new version of Maps will notify you of mass transit and transport delays, a feature targeted at public transport users. It will now let you know when a train or bus is delayed. In order to get notifications, you will have to select for slew of transit lines for which they want to receive notifications. Some users are also getting a screen that lets them enable the option to get real time disruption alert.

The latest Maps app update is rolling out in stages and will take some time before it is available to everyone.
