Lenovo Vibe A compact 4-inch smartphone with low end specs announced

Following the launch of Vibe C2, Lenovo has silently expanded its smartphone portfolio with the low-end Vibe A in Russia. The Vibe A runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and has 3G connectivity, dual SIM slots. Unfortunately, there's no 4G LTE support.

The Vibe A sports a compact 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) display and powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor with Mali 400 GPU, 512MB RAM, along with 4GB internal storage, which can be increased via microSD card.

It gets 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel front snapper. Apart from 3G, the phone supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 1700mAh battery.

The Lenovo Vibe A will be dressed in Black or White color. There's no detail about pricing and avaialbility. Considering the specs, the Vibe A should cost less than Rs. 4,999, which was the launch price of Lenovo A1000. For comparison, A1000 offered double RAM, storage and a bigger battery, so we can assume the cost of Vibe A to be even lower.
