Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro with Smart Glow, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE launched in India for Rs. 9,890


Samsung is on a smartphone launching spree in India. Last month the company launched Galaxy J2 2016, Galaxy J Max, Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy On7 Pro in the country. Now Samsung has launched an upgraded version of Galaxy J2 (2016) called Galaxy J2 Pro. 

The main difference between both versions is the RAM and storage offering. The Galaxy J2 Pro offers 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, instead of 1.5GB RAM and 8GB storage on Galaxy J2 (2016). Rest of the specifications remain unchanged.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro has 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC8830 processor coupled with Mali 400MP2 GPU. Storage expansion option is available via microSD card. The camera department rocks an 8-megapixel rear camera accompanied by LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. A 2600mAh battery runs the whole package that runs Android Marshmallow.

It comes with features like Smart Glow on the back of the phone which lights up for incoming notifications, Ultra data saving (UDS) mode powered by Opera Max, S Bike mode and Turbo Speed Technology (TST) to boost phone's performance.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro is priced at Rs. 9,890 and is exclusively available from Snapdeal. It comes in Black, Silver or Gold color options.
