vivo V3 gets Rs. 3,000 price cut, now available for Rs. 14,980


China's vivo V3 smartphone was launched in India in April for Rs. 17,980. Now the V3 has received a huge Rs. 3,000 price cut and is available for Rs. 14,980 via retail store across the country.

The vivo V3 sports premium metallic design and boasts fingerprint scanner at the back. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Funtouch OS 2.5 on top and comes with Hi-Fi audio that offers clear and crisp sound out put. As for the specs, the vivo V3 has 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 616 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM slots and 2550mAh battery.

According to Counterpoint Research, vivo is now one of the top five smartphone manufacturer globally. The company recently started its own manufacturing facility in India to support Make in India initiative.

Last month vivo announced the selfie-centric X7 and X7 Plus in China with 16MP front camera and Snapdragon 652 SoC.
