Xiaomi partners with Just Buy Live, Innocomm to expand offline sales in India

China's smartphone brand Xiaomi, in a bid to expand its offline distribution network in India has partnered with Just Buy Live and InnoComm. The new partners will implement their direct-to-retail model by buying products from Xiaomi and supplying directly to retail stores that may place orders as per demand.

Just Buy Live is one of the early E-distributors in the country, enabling retailers, shopkeepers and big corporates to purchase directly from their platform via an e-commerce model. On the other hand Innocomm is the subsidiary distributor arm for Foxconn and they focus entirely on a direct-to-retail model for distribution. This means that the company sells directly to retailers via a single distributor, cutting several layers of distributors in between.

The partnership will expand Xiaomi's reach across major large format retailers including Sangeetha, Big C, LOT Mobiles, Poorvika and several other small stores. This will make it easier for consumers in smaller cities, where internet usage is limited to purchase Xiaomi products. With the latest collaborations, Xiaomi has expanded it presence to more than 5,000 offline stores across the country.

All Xiaomi smartphones including the flagship Mi 5 and budget models Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note Prime and Redmi Note 3 are now available across major Tier 2 cities across India. The giant 6.4-inch Mi Max will also go on sale in retail stores starting July 13. The prices of all devices will be similar to the online pricing
