LYF Wind 2 with 6-inch display, 2GB RAM, 4G VoLTE launched at Rs. 8,200


Just a few days back Reliance Retail sub-brand LYF launched Water 8 smartphone with 5-inch AMOLED display, 3GB RAM, VoLTE for Rs. 10,999. Now the brand has launched yet another Water series handset called the Wind 2 with a big screen. The phone sports metal unibody design and offers 4G LTE with VoLTE support.

The LYF Wind 2 has a giant 6-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor backed by Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. There's 16GB on-board storage, with storage expansion support via microSD card (up to 32GB). It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and has hybrid dual SIM slots, which means the second SIM slot accepts either a SIM card or microSD card.

For photography, it gets 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFI 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2850mAh battery.

Priced at Rs. 8,200, the LYF Wind 2 comes in Gold color only and will be available for purchase from Reliance Digital and other retail stores across the country.
