The Galaxy Note7's S Pen cannot be inserted the wrong way

Last year's Samsung Galaxy Note5 featured a redesigned S Pen, with clickable design, that caused a problem. The problem was that if the S Pen was inserted backward, this could damage the stylus or the phone's component.

However, with the Galaxy Note7' s S Pen, Samsung has fixed the design flaw and has made sure the S Pen cannot be wrongly inserted. According to SamMobile, the new S Pen doesn't go into the Stylus bay of the Galaxy Note7, unless it is correctly inserted. It will stop at around the 2-3mm mark when being inserted the wrong way. So there’s very little chance of damaging the tip.

The Galaxy Note7 comes with an improved S Pen which offers improved sensor sensitivity, slimmer 0.7mm tip, supports GIF sharing and features new Air Commands like quick text translation and Magnify. It is also IP68 rated, which means the stylus is water and dust resistant.
