Moto Z Play with Snapdragon 625 SoC, 3GB RAM surfaces on GFXBench
Motorola's upcoming 'Z' series smartphone, the Moto Z Play have been spotted several times in leaked photos, bench-marking (AnTuTu) and China's certification website (TENAA). Taking into account various leaks, we already know the possible design and specifications of Moto Z Play.
Now, confirming the specs once again is a GFXBenchmark listing of the Moto Z Play.
According to GFXBench, Moto Z Play phone is expected to have 5.5-inch screen with 1080p resolution, octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC w/ Adreno 506 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It will have 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie camera.
Earlier leaks have suggested that Moto Z Play will have 3500mAh battery, USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on-board.
Leaked photos have already confirmed that just like Moto Z/Moto Z Force, the Moto Z Play will also support Moto Mods accessories, which snap on the back of the phone to give it extra functionality.
If rumors are to be believed the Moto Z Play is expected to be launched on September 6. The rumored pricing is $446 (Rs. 30,000).
