Motorola after introducing the high-end flagship Moto 'Z' series, is reportedly working on a new mid-range 'M' series smartphone and will sit between Moto G and Moto X. Two new 'M' series devices was spotted online, one with model number XT1662 on China's TENAA and the other XT1663 on GFXBench. Both phones will have metal body, Moto logo below the display and fingerprint scanner at the back.
The Moto M XT1662 will feature 5.5-inch 1080p display, Mediatek MT6755 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It will run Android Marshmallow out of the box and a 3000mAh battery will keep it running.
The Moto X XT1663 is a compact model with 4.6-inch 1080p display and 1.9GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC. The rest of the specs are same as XT1662.
