Now you can order food, book a table directly from Google Search [India]

Google is making it easier for you to order food and book a table at your favorite restaurant. Now you will be able to do so directly from the search results. Initially, you’ll be able to order food via Zomato and Swiggy, and make your restaurant reservations with Dineout and Bytplus using Google Search on Android and iOS devices.

Now when you search for a nearby restaurant on your phone, you'll see an option to "Place an order" in the search results. Just tap and choose your favorite delivery service like Zomato or Swiggy, and you'll be forward to their website to complete the order.

Apart from ordering food, you can also book a table at a restaurant directly from Search by clicking on the partner's link (Dineout and Bytplus) and you'll be taken to their website to make the reservation.

Google says that it will add more partners and improve UI over time.
