Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro reportedly landing in India next month


Last week, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note7 in India along side a bunch of accessories such as Gear Fit2 fitness tracker, Gear IconX wireless bud and the new Gear VR headset. Now Samsung will reportedly launch a new battery-centric phone in the country.

According to a new report, Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A9 Pro in India next month. The phone was launched in China in March and packs a massive 5000mAh battery and high-end specs. The report also mentions that the Galaxy A9 Pro will be priced around Rs. 35,000 in the country. In China, the phone is priced at CNY 3499 (Rs. 36,000).

To recap the specs, the Galaxy A9 Pro has a huge 6-inch 1080p Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt expandable storage, 16MP/8MP cameras, 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, finger print sensor (embedded into home button) and Android Marshmallow on-board. 

It boasts of metal and glass build giving it a premium look just like Galaxy S6 series. We can also expect the phone to come pre-loaded with S-Bike mode, data saving mode and Turbo Speed technology.
