Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 promotional materials leaked


Earlier reports have mentioned that Samsung is working on the successor of Galaxy Folder clamshell smartphone. Dubbed Galaxy Folder 2, the phone was recently spotted on GFXBench and TENAA revealing most of the specs. Now the Galaxy Folder 2's promotional images, revealing additional details.

As seen in the image, the Galaxy Folder 2 will have a slim profile and will be dressed in gold. It will have 3.8-inch touchscreen display bearing the resolution 480 x 800, quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, microSD card slot, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 4G LTE. It will run Android Marshmallow, and a 2000mAh battery will keep it running.

The image does not reveal the launch date of the Galaxy Folder 2. It's worth mentioning that Galaxy Folder was limited to Samsung's home market South Korea, so it is unlikely to be released in other countries.
