Sony Xperia X Compact is run through GFXBench with 4.6-inch display, Snapdragon 820 SoC


Last week, Sony accidentally confirmed the existence of the Xperia X Compact and Xperia XZ. Moreover the Xperia X Compact showed itself via render courtesy of Evan Blass. Now Xperia X Compact have been spotted on GFXBench, revealing most of the specs.

As per the listing, the Xperia X Compact will have a 4.6-inch Full HD (1080p) display, 2.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There's no mention of microSD card.

It will have a 16-megapixel rear camera that can capture 4K video, and 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. The phone will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, but we can expect Sony to offer Android Nougat in the near future. Considering the specs, Sony Xperia X Compact will be one of the most powerful 4.6-inch smartphone available in the market.

The Xperia X Compact along with Xperia XZ (2) are expected to be unveiled at IFA trade show in Berlin later this week.
