Alcatel Shine Lite with 5-inch display, 13MP camera announced
Alcatel at IFA 2016 has introduced the Shine Lite smartphone, which it touts to boast “premium design at a competitive price.”. The phone sports a glass and metal design with 2.5D glass on both front and back, with metal frames at sides, giving it a premium look.
The Alcatel Shine Lite features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D Dragontrail Glass display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor backed by Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM.
There's 16GB inbuilt-storage which can be expanded via microSD card. It gets 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, and 5-megapixel front facing camera accompanied by LED flash, for more accurate colors, especially in low light.
The phone runs Android Marshmallow and supports dual SIM slots (optional), 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It has a fingerprint scanner at the back and is fueled by 2460mAh battery.
Priced at €199 ($225 | Rs. 15,000), the Alcatel Shine Lite will be released in Europe, Asia and the Americas later this month. It comes in Black, White and Gold color hues.
