Dell announces new Latitude business convertible, Inspiron consumer laptops


Dell has announced new Latitude 13 3000 Series 2-in-1 notebook made for business customers, along with new Inspiron 15 and 17 5000 consumer laptops.

The new Latitude 3000 notebook sports 13.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) touchscreen display. The base model comes with 6th gen Intel Skylake U (Pentium i3 or i5) processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD and Windows 10 Pro. There's also higher models with Core i3 or Core i5 Skylake processor, up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD.

Each Latitude 3000 model have 2 x USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI 1.4a port, USB Type-C ports for power/connectivity, SD card reader, headset jack and an infrared camera with support for Windows Hello. Similar to other 2-in-1 devices the Latitude 13 3000 has 360-degree hinge that lets you use the notebook in four different modes —laptop, tent, stand and tablet

The Dell Latitude 13 3000 notebook is available at Dell.com starting at $699 (Rs. 47,000)

Dell Inspiron 15 5000 and Inspiron 17 5000 laptops
They offer 15-inch and 17-inch display respectively with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and are powered by Intel's 7th gen Core i7 "Kaby Lake" processors. The 15-inch model will also comes with an optional touchscreen display and Infrared camera with Windows Hello support. Both have thinner design and comes with a range of colors including Sparkling white, Midnight Blue, Fog Night, Matte Gray, Black, Bali Blue, Tango Red, Cosmic Purple

The new Inspiron laptops will be available from October 4 starting at $549 (Rs. 36,900).
