Huawei Nova, Nova Plus with Snapdragon 625 SoC, 3GB RAM announced
Huawei at its IFA 2016 event introduced the Nove series of smartphones. Dubbed Nova and Nova Plus, the phones sports premium metal unibody design with 2.5D curved glass.
The Huawei Nova is the more compact of the two featuring 5-inch 1080p display with 1.8mm narrow bezel. It is powered by 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. For photography, there's 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front camera with screen flash.
Connectivity duties are handled by hybrid dual SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB Type-C. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top and is fueled by 3020mAh battery. There's also a fingerprint scanner at the back which Huawei claims can detect 'ridge depth' for greater accuracy.
The Nova Plus has a bigger 5.5-inch 1080p display, 16-megapixel rear camera (w/ dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, OIS) and is packs a bigger 3340mAh battery. The rest of the specs are identical to the Nova.
The Huawei Nova and Nova Plus are priced at 399 Euros ($444 | Rs. 30,000) and 429 Euros ($478 | Rs. 32,000) respectively and will be available from October. They come in prestige gold, mystic silver and titanium grey colors.

Huawei has announced two new mid-range android smartphones called the Huawei Nova and Huawei Nova Plus. Both devices feature premium unibody aluminium builds, a fingerprint sensor on the back and a USB Type-C port on the bottom.
