Honor 6X with dual-rear cameras launch set for October 18


Huawei sub-brand Honor is all set to launch the Honor 8 (and Honor 8 Smart) with dual-rear cameras in India on October 12.

The brand has also scheduled an event in China for October 18 to launch Honor 6X, its latest mid-range smartphone, which will also offer dual-rear camera setup as well.

The dual-rear camera setup of Honor 6X was confirmed by the photographs posted on TENAA. The certification website also revealed the phone will have metal unibody design and fingerprint sensor on the back.

According to TENAA, the Honor 6X will feature 5.5-inch 1080p display, Kirin 650 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, 4G VoLTE and 3340mAh battery.

The dual rear camera on the back will be a 12MP unit and a 2MP/5MP unit for depth of field. The front camera will be an 8MP unit. The Honor 6X will also have dual-SIM slots and run Android Marshmallow based EMUI.

Considering the specs, the Honor 6X will be a mid-range smartphone with an affordable price tag. It is rumored to carry a price tag of  $200 (Rs. 13,300), making it the most cheapest smartphone available in the market with dual-rear cameras.
