Honor 8 Doctor Strange Limited Edition announced

Huawei sub-brand Honor is teaming up with Marvel Studios' to promote the latter's upcoming movie Doctor Strange starring Benedict Cumberbatch. To celebrate the release, Honor is running two special promotion in the UK.

The first promotion will give fans a chance to win a Limited Edition Doctor Strange Honor 8 etched with the Eye of Agamotto onto the back. Unfortunately the handset will not be available for purchase.

The other promotion will see the first 3,000 registrants of Honor 8 smartphone on UK carrier Three to get two tickets of the movie and four Marvel movie downloads (Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and Thor) via Google Play. The Marvel movies will have to redeemed before January 31,2017.

The promotion is already live and will run until 30 November 2016. Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange starring Benedict Cumberbatch will hit UK cinema October 25.

To recap the specs of Honor 8, it has 5.2-inch 1080p display, octa-core Kirin 950 processor, 4GB RAM, 12MP dual rear cameras, 8MP front camera, hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE support and 3000mAh battery.

The Honor 8 landed in the UK and Europe in August with a price tag of £369.99. Meanwhile, Honor is all set to launch the Honor 8 in India tomorrow (October 12).
