Honor Watch S1 with circular dial announced

Huawei sub-brand Honor on Tuesday unveiled the Honor 6X smartphone with dual-rear cameras and 8-inch Honor Pad 2 tablet at an event in China. In addition, the brand also introduced Honor Watch S1 fitness watch.

The Honor Watch S1 sports a circular dial that can be used with interchangeable 18mm straps. It features 1.04 (208 x 208 pixels) LCD black and white touch screen display and heart rate monitor and is water resistant for up to 50 meters.

The smartwatch is compatible with devices running Android 4.4 KitKat or iOS 8 and above, and syncs all the collected data to the Huawei Fit app over Bluetooth 4.2. It also offers notifications for calls, message and reminders as well when connected to smartphones.

It weighs 35g and is backed by 80mAh battery, which promises battery life of up to six days on a single charge.

The Honor Watch S1 is priced at CNY 699 ($103 | Rs. 7,000) and comes with Orange, Black and Blue straps. It will be available in China from October 25.
