Microsoft's All-in-One Surface PC will be reportedly known as Surface Studio

Microsoft is holding an event on October 26 that is tomorrow to show new Windows 10 features and Surface and OEM releated products. One of the Surface product most likely to be announced is an All-in-One PC. Now according to a new report the Surface All-in-One PC will be called Surface Studio.

The name was spotted in a recent trademark filing, which was applied for through a Slovenian company, that has been associated with Surface-related filings in the past. The Surface Studio naming is also in-line with an earlier report which suggested Microsoft's all-in-one PC, could be positioned as a product that "can turn your desk into a studio."

Details are very scarce of Surface Studio, but according to reports it is expected to feature 27-inch display, 4K resolution, detachable display and GTX 1080 graphics making it VR and AR ready. It will also have inking support and modular design with add-on components.

Apart from Surface Studio, there were trademark filings for Surface Laptop, Paint 3D (revamped version of Paint app with 3D editing features), Surface Dial and Dial.

Interestingly, the Surface Dial reference was found in Windows 10 code for a RadialController that "can be paired and has haptics" for feedback. According to report RadialController could be software for Surface Dial. The Surface Dial is rumored to be a wireless remote that acts like a handheld shortcut for frequently used features and is aimed at artists and graphic professionals.

In addition to Surface Studio, Microsoft is also expected to announce Surface Keyboard, Surface Mouse, Amazon Echo competitor Home Hub, Alcatel Idol 4 Pro (OEM related) and reveal new features included in the Windows 10 Redstone 2 update.

Amazon Echo competitor called HomeHub
There are rumors about a "smart connected" device which is similar to Amazon Echo and Google Home. According to Windows Central, the device is related to a Windows 10 feature called HomeHub and would be powered by Cortana. Similar to Echo, it will be a smart-voice activated speaker for home that will perform various tasks like answering questions, setting reminders, control household appliance. It will also have the ability to store music, video, documents allowing them to be streamed to any other devices in the home.

Alcatel Idol 4 Pro - OEM related announcement
The Alcatel Idol 4 Pro will be a flagship Windows 10 Mobile device and the specs include 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 21MP/8MP cameras, 4G LTE, fingerprint scanner and 3000mAh battery.

If you were excited about the successor's of Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book (Surface Pro 5 and Surface Book 2 respectively), you'll be disappointed, as they are expected to be launch in Spring 2017 (between March and June), alongside the Surface Phone.

The Microsoft Windows 10 event will take place tomorrow at 7am PT/ 10am ET / 7:30pm IST, so we don't have to wait much to know all the official details and product launches.
