OnePlus 3T could feature Sony IMX398 sensor, cost $80 more than OnePlus 3

Few days back, a report suggested that OnePlus is working on a upgraded variant of OnePlus 3, which is rumored to be called OnePlus 3T or OnePlus 3 Turbo.

Now according to new report the OnePlus 3T will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor which supports Google's Daydream VR platform. It will have 16MP rear camera with a new Sony IMX398 sensor instead of IMX298 sensor on the OnePus 3. The IMX398 is Sony's latest camera sesnor, which is also featured on Oppo's R9s and R9s Plus.

The OnePlus 3T is expected to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat and is likely to support Dash Charge fast charging technology.

Meanwhile, Evan Blass has revealed that OnePlus 3T will be priced $80 (Rs. 5,350) than OnePlus 3. The OnePlus 3 costs $399 (INR 27,999 in India), and if Blass's claims are true, OnePlus 3T will be priced around $479 (INR 32,000 approx.).

Recently, a OnePlus device with model number A3010 passed through Chinese regulators, which could be the OnePlus 3T.  Currently, it is not known when, OnePlus 3T will be announced, but it could happen before 2016 ends.
