ZTE Axon 7 Max with 6-inch display, dual-rear cameras announced


ZTE has announced a new smartphone called Axon 7 Max in China. The Axon 7 Max will be joining the high-end Axon 7 and mid-ranger Axon 7 mini and sports a unibody metal design, just like the other two, but has a big screen and dual-rear cameras. However, it a mid-range smartphone boasting decent specs.

The ZTE Axon 7 Max features a bigger 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla glass display with naked-eye 3D viewing and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor backed by Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB RAM. On-board storage is 64GB, which can be expanded via microSD card. It runs Android Marshmallow and has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

The camera department is handled by 13MP dual rear cameras, one for color images and the other for black and white image for depth of field. The rear cameras feature, Sony sensor, laser auto-focus and dual-tone LED flash. The selfie camera unit on the front is 13MP.

Connectivity options include hybrid dual-SIM slot, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS and USB Type-C. It is backed by 4100mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, and packs Dolby Atoms, Smart PA, AKM4962 chip for an enhanced audio experience.

The ZTE Axon 7 Max is priced at CNY 2999 ($422 | Rs. 29,560) and will go on sale from November 2 in single Gold color only.
