Vodafone subscribers to get free Wi-Fi data at IGI Delhi airport


Delhi International Airport (Pvt) LTD and Vodafone India has teamed up to offer high-speed WiFi services at both terminals (domestic and international) of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi. Following successful trials over three months, the service is now available for travelers using Vodafone mobile services (both post-paid and pre-paid) for use at both terminals of  IGI airport.

Vodafone subscribers who already have 1GB and 2GB 3G/4G pack will get 1GB free WiFi, which can be used in WiFi zone at IGI airport and other WiFi zone powered by Vodafone. The free 1GB WiFi offer is also available on Vodafone U recharges of over 1GB.

Travelers using Vodafone mobile connection need to clock on the WiFi connect option in the My Vodafone app to connect to the WiFi. If they want to connect to WiFi using laptops or tablet, they need to select 'VodafoneWiFi' from the list of available networks and log in by generating an OTP (one-time password).

Vodafone also plans to set up information booths, kiosks and promoters at domestic and internation terminal of IGI airport to help travelers access to the WiFi.
