Google Pixel, Pixel XL India pre-order begins October 13 starting at Rs. 57,000
Google today officially introduced its Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones at an event in San Francisco. The handsets will be available for pre-order in the U.S, UK, Canada, Germany and Australia starting today.
As far as India is concerned, the Pixel and Pixel XL will be up for pre-orders starting October 13 via Fllipkart and at over 1000 organized and multi-brand retail stores with leading retail partners including Reliance Digital, Croma and Vijay sales among others.
Prices start at Rs. 57,000, for the base model 32GB of Pixel, which is much higher compared to $649 (Rs. 43,000) in the U.S. The 128GB storage model of Pixel will be priced Rs. 67,000. The Pixel XL 32GB and 128GB storage models will set you back by Rs. 67,000 and Rs. 76,000 respectively.
The new Pixel phones from Google run the latest Android 7.1 Nougat; are Daydream VR ready; features Google Assistant; comes pre-loaded with Allo messaging app & Duo video calling app; and offers unlimited storage for photos and videos with Google Photos.
The smaller Pixel comes with 5-inch 1080p display and 2770mAh battery, while the bigger Pixel XL has 5.5-inch Quad HD display and a beefier 3450mAh battery. Both the Pixel phones feature Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB/128GB storage, 12.3MP rear camera (w/ LED flash, PDAD, Laser Auto-focus), 8MP front camera, NFC, USB Type-C and fingerprint sensor on the back.
They will come in Quite Black and Very Silver colors.
