Xolo Era 2 with selfie flash, 4G VoLTE launched for Rs. 4,499


Xolo has added a new smartphone to its Era line up with the launch of Era 2. The handset comes with VoLTE support and will work with Reliance Jio SIMs.

The Xolo Era 2 features a 5-inch WVGA (840 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor aided by 1GB RAM. It has 8GB on-board storage, which can be further increased via microSD card.

For photography, it has 5MP cameras each on front and back alongside LED flash, to assist in taking quality selfies under low-light conditions. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE, VoLTE, dual-SIM slots, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is backed by 2350mAh battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The handset also includes several software features like double tap on screen to access camera and other apps, Audio Note, Smart Screenshot, Smart Awake, Assistant Cast screen, LED flash for call, and Flip to mute for alarms and calls.

The Xolo Era 2 is priced at Rs. 4,499 and wil be exclusively available on Snapdeal via flash sale. The first flash sale will take place on October 27, and registrations are now open. It comes in  black, nile blue and pyramid gold colors.
