Moto M with 5.5-inch display, Helio P15 SoC, 16MP camera gets official
Motorola (owned by Lenovo) has finally announced the Moto M smartphone in China. The Moto M is the first smartphone in the new Moto M series and is a mid-ranger with all-metal design and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The body also gets a layer of water repellent nano-coating to protect it from drizzle, spills and splashes.
The Moto M features 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is powered by 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor further aided by Mali T860 GPU and 4GB RAM. On-board storage is 32GB, which can be expanded via microSD card.
It has 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF, and 8MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is backed by a 3050mAh battery with Turbo Charging. Also on-board is Dolby Atmos-powered speakers to deliver immersive media experience.
The Moto M is priced at CNY 1999 ($295 | Rs. 20,000) and will go on sale in China starting November 11. There's no word if the company plans to launch the phone in other markets.

The Motorola Moto M comes with quite impressive features, good camera quality and fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8 GHz Octa-core processor along with 4 GB of RAM.
