Shuttle outs DX30 mini PC with Apollo Lake processor
Mini PC maker Shuttle has launched DX30, a fanless mini barbones PC equipped with Intel Celeron J3355 dual-core Apollo Lake processor.
Being a barebones system, under the hood there's space for 2 x DDR3L-1600 SODIMM slots for up to 8GB RAM, a 2.5-inch drive and a SSD M.2 format. The system also includes a wireless Wi-Fi 802.11n adapter.
Other features include 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 4 x USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, 1 x PS/2 port, 2 x COM ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, an optional VGA output, mic & headphone jacks and a SD card reader.
The mini PC measures 7.5" x 6.5" x 1.7" and is capable of supporting up to three external display. It is also equipped with a cooled pipe system rather than a traditional fan to help dissipate heat from the processor and other internal components.
Currently the pricing and availability details are not known.
