BSNL introduces unlimited calling plans with data benefits
State-run teleco BSNL ( Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has introduced two new unlimited calling plan ― Rs. 99 and Rs. 339 ― for its prepaid subscribers, which also includes data benefits.
The Rs. 99 plan offers unlimited local and STD BSNL to BSNL voice calls and gives an additional 300MB data. It comes with a validity of 28 days.
The new 99 plan is only available in limited telecom circles including Kolkata TD, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkand, Assam, Gujrat MP, Chattisgrah, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. In other circles where BSNL operates the unlimited calling plan varies from Rs. 119 to Rs. 149.
The Rs. 399 plan also comes with 28 days validity, but offer unlimited local and STD calls to any network across the country, and 1GB of data.
The move comes from BSNL to counter Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, Idea Celluar, who launched similar unlimited calling plans to compete with Reliance Jio.
