Gionee M2017 surfaces in live photos, shows dual-curved display, dual-rear cameras

Gionee will launch its most unique looking and powerful smartphone to date on December 26. Dubbed M2017, it will feature a massive 8000mAh battery, 12MP + 13MP dual cameras, 6GB RAM and QHD display.

The M2017 was recently showcased at an exhibition at a partner conference organized by China Mobile in Guangzhou. A couple of live photos of the M2017 taken at the event as surfaced online.

As seen in the photos, the Gionee M2017 will sport a bezel-less design and a display with curved edges on both sides. At the back the dual-camera setup has been placed along with the premium leather-like finish in Black color. On the front there's the physical home button which will house the fingerprint sensor.

We first came to know about W2017 when it was certified by China's TENAA. As far as other specs are concerned, the Gionee M2017 will have 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display, octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor, 128GB storage, 8MP front camera, dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, USB Type-C and fingerprint scanner. It will boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Amigo OS 3.2.
