Gionee launches VoLTE enabled P7 in India at Rs. 9,999


Gionee has expanded it budget 'P' line up of smartphone with the launch of P7 in India. It is a toned down variant of P7 Max, which was launched in the country back in October. The P7 sports minimal bezels on the sides and get curved glass back with ripple patterns, along with transparent and glittering texture offering comfortable grip.

The Gionee P7 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a layer of Soda Line glass to keep scratches at bay and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

It gets 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing camera with screen flash. On the connectivity front, there's support for dual-SIMs, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with AMIGO 3.2 on top. A 2300mAh battery keeps the lights on.

The Gionee P7 is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available across the country via online and offline stores in White, Latte Gold and Grey colors. At this price the P7 will be facing competition from Xiaomi's Redmi Note 3/Redmi 3S Prime and Lenovo's K6 Power which offers betters specs.
