Huawei outs Enjoy 6S with Snapdragon 435, 3GB RAM, 13MP camera in China


Over the weekend renders of a Huawei smartphone, claimed to be that of Honor 6S surfaced online. Now it turns out that, the phone is an upgraded version of  Huawei Enjoy 6, which was launched back in October in China.

The phone is called Enjoy 6S and has been unveiled in Huawei's home market of China. Similar to Enjoy 6, the Enjoy 6S sports an all-metal body with chamfered edges and has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. All the specs are similar, except for the processor and storage.

Huawei's Enjoy 6S is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 435 instead of MediaTek's MT6750 processor found on Enjoy 6.

It features 5-inch HD display and comes with 3GB RAM. The storage has also received a bump from 16GB to 32GB on the Enjoy 6S. There's microSD card slot as well for storage expansion.

For photography, it gets 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, while on the front there's 5MP camera. It runs Android Marshmallow based EMUI 4.1 and supports dual-SIMs, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi and Bluetooth for connectivity. It is fueled by 3200mAh battery.

The Huawei Enjoy 6S is priced at CNY 1599 ($232 | Rs. 16,000) and will be available in China in Gold, Silver and White colors.
