Swipe Elite Max with 4GB RAM launched for Rs. 10,999

Soon after launching the 4G VoLTE enabled Rs. 3,333 Elite Star smartphone, Swipe Technologies is out with a new big-screened stylish phablet dubbed Elite Max.

The main highlight of the Elite Max is that it offers 4GB of RAM at an affordable price joining Coolpad Note 5 and Micromax Canvas 6 Pro, which also features 4GB RAM priced at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 9999 respectively.

The Swipe Elite Max sports zinc-aluminum alloy bezel and Onyx Black glass body. It features 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. On-board storage is 32GB, which can be expanded via microSD card.

The camera department includes 13MP PDAF rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front camera The Elite Max runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB OTG for connectivity. A 3000mAh battery gives the Elite Max fuel to keep the lights on. A rear-mounted fingerprint scanner rounds up the specs sheet.

The Swipe Elite Max is priced at Rs. 10,999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart from December 16. Interestingly Coolpad Note 5 also offers almost same specs at the same price but comes with Snapdragon 617 processor and a bigger 4100mAh battery.

However, it is good to see that Indian smartphone makers are trying to compete with China branded smartphones in terms of specs and price, and Elite Max has just done that.
