Videocon launches Ultra30 with 4G VoLTE, 4000mAh battery at Rs. 8,590


Videocon has launched a new 4G VoLTE enabled smartphone called Ultra30. The phone is almost similar to the Ultra50, which was launched back in October with two differences. 

The Ultra50 packed 3000mAh battery, but the Ultra30 gets a beefier 4000mAh battery. Moreover the fingerprint scanner is missing on Ultra30, which was present on Ultra50. Apart from these changes rest of the specs are same.

The Videocon Ultra30 comes with 5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Dragontrail glass on top, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP PDAF rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. Both rear and front facing cameras are backed by an LED flash. Connectivity duties are handled by dual-SIM slots, microSD card slot 4G VoLTE, Miravision, Cast Screen, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.

For software, it runs Android Marshmallow and boasts features like support for two WhatsApp accounts, gesture controls and comes pre-installed with SOS – Be Safe emergency response application. It also comes bundled with 12 month premium access to over 3,000 movies and music video on ErosNow app and free games on Gameloft app.

The Videocon Ultra30 is priced Rs. 400 lesser than Ultra50 at Rs. 8,590. It will be available exclusively on Snapdeal.
