Airtel offers free 3GB data for 12 months to customers who switch to their 4G network

Last month Airtel introduced a new Rs. 345 plan for prepaid subscribers with unlimited local and STD calls to any network across India, plus data benefit of 1GB for a month. A similar plan was introduced for post-paid subscribers as well under MyPlan Infinity plans.

Now the company has announced a special offer under which it is offering these plans with extra data benefits for 12 months to customers who switch to Airtel's 4G network. Customers eligible for this offer are those with a 4G device, and currently not on Airtel networks. Moreover any customer including existing Airtel subscribers, can also avail the extra data benefits by switching to a new 4G mobile device.

Under the offer new prepaid and postpaid customer will get free 3GB data every month till December 31, 2017, in addition to the existing pack/plan benefits.

For prepaid customers, the free 3GB data will be added to their monthly quota of 1GB on the Rs. 345 recharge, offering a total of 4GB data a month along with unlimited local and STD calls to any network across the country. The first time free 3GB data benefit can be availed through MyAirtel app, data benefits on following recharges will be subsequent. The pack benefits will be valid for 28 days and can be availed for a maximum of 13 recharges till December, 31, 2017.

New postpaid customer will get the extra 3GB of free data every month and unlimited calling (Local+STD) on all of MyPlan Infinity plans. Customers will also get free SMS and subscription to Wynk Music and Wynk Movies as well. The free data can be claimed via MyAirtel app.

The offer will be available to customers across the country starting January 4 and will end on February 28, 2017. Price of these plans may vary from circle to circle.
