Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom price revealed ahead of its February release


Asus unveiled ZenFone 3 Zoom, the company's first smartphone with dual-rear cameras at CES 2017, Las Vegas. At the event Asus said that ZenFone 3 Zoom will go on sale in February, but did not reveal the pricing.

Now the price has been reportedly revealed ahead of the February launch. Asus at the recent ZenFone Pegasus 3S unveiling event in China revealed the pricing of ZenFone 3 Zoom.

The top end model with 128GB storage of ZenFone 3 Zoom will carry a price tag of CNY 3699 (Rs. 36,000) in China. But expect the price to be higher when the handset launches in India. For comparison, the first gen ZenFone Zoom with 128GB storage is retailing in the country for Rs. 37,999. Unfortunately the pricing of the other two variants, 32GB and 64GB were not revealed.

To recap the specs, the ZenFone 3 Zoom comes with 12MP Sony IMX362 + 12 MP w/ 2.3x optical zoom dual rear cameras. It has 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 13MP front camera and a beefy 5000mAh battery. Other features include fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, hybrid dual-SIM slots and USB Type-C port.
