BSNL's Rs. 144 plan offer unlimited voice calling and 300MB data for a month
State run BSNL has launched a new Rs. 144 plan offering unlimited free calls. Under the new plan, BSNL subscribers will get unlimited local and STD calls to any network for a period of one month. Plus they will also get additional 300MB of free data as well.
The new plan is available for both postpaid and prepaid customers for a span of six months, which means users can recharge six times to avail the benefits offered by the plan.
Last month BSNL launched Rs. 99 and Rs. 349 packs with unlimited voice calling bundled with data (up to 1GB). All this is an effort to take on Reliance Jio's Happy offer, which gives unlimited voice call and unlimited data (FUP 1GB) for the next three months.
Apart from the new Rs. 144 plan, BSNL also announced that currently 4,400 WiFi hotspots are installed across the country, and plans to take the number up to 40,000 by end of this year. The telecom operator is also expected to roll out 4G services later this year as well.
