HMD Global will reportedly launch up to seven Nokia Android smartphones by end of 2017

Nokia's return to the smartphone market is highly awaited. Last week, a report coming out of China suggested that HMD Global would launch five Nokia branded devices before Q3 2017, one at MWC 2017, and the rest four during Q2 and Q3 2017. Now it appears that Nokia has planned few more devices for release as well.

According to a leaked presentation slide from a Malaysian distributor named Avaxx suggests that HMD will launch six to seven Nokia Android smartphones this year. These phones will cater the entry-level, mid-range and high end categories, and will be available by end of 2017.

The slide also reveals that HMD Global will launch a series of attractive Nokia feature phones as well, and maintain the market share.

The upcoming Nokia devices are still a mystery, but if rumors are to be believed, two Nokia phones are already making rounds on the internet for quite some time including the entry level Nokia E1 and the mid-range Nokia D1/D1C.

HMD Global has already confirmed that it will be present at this year's MWC in Barcelona, so we can expect to hear the company's future plans for Nokia and new Android powered Nokia devices.
