Lenovo India has started teasing the launch of the battery-centric Lenovo P2. The company on its Twitter handle tweeted that the P2 will be launched soon, without providing an exact date, but the launch is expected before the end of this month.

First unveiled at IFA 2016, the Lenovo P2 comes with power-packed features at budget like the beefy 5100mAh battery, which supports fast charging via a 24-watt charger. It can also be used to charge other devices via USB OTG as well.

It has 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE, fingerprint scanner and NFC.

The Lenovo P2 in China sells for an INR equivalent of Rs. 19,000, so the price can be expected under Rs. 20,000. The phone will be a competitor to Xiaomi's upcoming Redmi Note 4, which is expected to launch in India soon.
