Possible Moto G5 Plus images and specs spotted
A couple of live images of Moto X 2017 were leaked last month. Now additional images of a Moto smartphone looking similar to the device have surfaced on OLX Romania. The seller who has listed the phone on the portal claims it to be the Moto G5 Plus, sucessor of Moto G4 Plus. The listing includes live images, complete specs sheet and price of Moto G5 Plus.
If the listing is true, than Moto G5 Plus will be the first phone in Moto G series to sport metal body. previously, Moto G phones were made of plastic. Interestingly the design of Moto G5 Plus is a mix of Moto Z and Moto M.
Coming to the specs, as per the listing, Moto G5 Plus will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and 3080mAh battery. It gets 13MP rear camera w/ dual LED flash and 5MP front camera. It boots Android Nougat and fingerprint scanner is part of the package.
While Moto G5 Plus retains the display found on Moto G4 Plus, the other specs get a little bump. However, the camera department has been toned down and appears to be the one used on Moto G4. The Moto G4 Plus had 16MP rear camera.
The Moto G5 Plus listed on the website is said to be a prototype and was selling for RON 1,650 ($387 | Rs. 26,500), which is much higher and double of Moto G4 Plus. At the time of writing the listing was already taken down. As always take this news with a salt.
