Oppo is riding high in the Indian market, as it is one of the top five smartphone brand in the country owing to the success of the selfie-centric F1 and F1 Plus.
Now in 2017, Oppo will kick off the company's new year in India with the launch of a new selfie-centric mid-range smartphone called A57. The handset will be launched in the country on February 3.
To refresh, The Oppo A57 was introduced in China back in November last year. Being a selfie-centric smartphone, it comes with 16MP PDAF selfie shooter. On the back it gets 13MP PDAF camera with LED flash.
Running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based Color OS 3.0, the Oppo A57 has 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, Snapdragon 435 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, hybrid dual-SIM slots, fingerprint scanner, 4G VoLTE and 2900mAh battery.
The Oppo A57 is offered in Gold and Rose Gold hues, and carries a price tag equivalent to Rs. 16,000, so the Indian pricing could be around that. We will know the exact pricing, when the phone launches in the country next Friday.
