vivo V5 Plus goes official with dual-front cameras


Following the launch of V5 Lite, vivo has now officially unveiled the V5 Plus with dual front cameras. It is listed on the company website, and will launch in India on January 23.

The main highlight of vivo V5 Plus is its dual camera system on the front 20MP Sony IMX376 + 8MP for depth sensing and and add DSLR-like bokeh effect while taking selfies. The main camera is a 16MP unit with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. Both front and rear cameras gets LED flash.

Coming to other specs, the vivo V5 Plus has a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. For software, it runs Android Marshmallow based Funtouch OS 3.0.

It is fueled by 3160mAh battery and supports dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS for connectivity. It also gets a fingerprint scanner (baked into home button) AK4367 dedicated Hi-Fi audio chip, which delivers a signal-to-noise ratio of up to 115db.

The vivo V5 Plus is already up for pre-order in Malaysia for 1799 ($402 | Rs. 27,500) and will be available in Golden color. We will get to know the India pricing of V5 Plus next Monday.
