vivo V5 Plus with dual-selfie cameras India launch set for January 23


vivo launched the selfie-centric 20MP front shooter totting vivo V5 in India for Rs. 17,980 backed in November 2016, and promised to launch an upgraded model vivo V5 Plus with dual front cameras in the country soon.

Now the company has sent out invites for an event taking place on January 23 to launch the V5 Plus in the country. The invite show two camera lenses and reads "Block your date for the biggest selfie camera resolution".

Even though, vivo did not reveal details on the specification, the vivo V5 Plus could be the rebranded vivo X9, which was unveiled in China in November last year. The phone featured dual front facing cameras as well.

If true, than, vivo V5 Plus will have 20MP Sony IMX376 f/2.0 + 8MP front camera for capturing depth information when taking selfies. The camera on the back will be a 16MP unite with LED flash and PDAF. As for the other specs, the vivo V5 Plus could come with 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED dispaly, Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 4G VoLTE, fingerprint scanner and 3050mAh battery. It will run Android Marshmallow based Funtouch OS 3.0.

  1. Good information about the Vivo V5 Plus smartphone. The smartphone comes with a 20 MP + 8 MP primary camera and 13 MP front camera with 4GB of RAM.
