Xolo launches Era 2X with 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanner, 4G VoLTE

Xolo today launched a new 4G budget smartphone dubbed Era 2X. The phone comes with 4G LTE support for Jio's Happy New Year offer and has a fingerprint scanner at the back, which apart from unlocking the phone can also be used to launch camera, unlock gallery, capture photo and answer calls.

The Xolo Era 2X features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor paired with Mali T720 MP1 GPU. It comes with 2GB or 3GB RAM and houses 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, it gets 8MP f/2.0 rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing camera. The dual-SIM phone supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS for connectivity. It runs Android Marshmallow and is fueled by 2500mAh battery. 

The Xolo Era 2X is priced at Rs. 6,666 for the 2GB RAM version, and Rs. 7,499 for the 3GB RAM version. It will be available exclusively from Flipkart in Black Gunmetal and Latte Gold colors starting January 9.
