Honor 8 Lite with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage announced


Huawei sub-brand Honor introduced the Honor 8 Lite in Finland earlier this month. It was a toned down version of Honor 8 with single camera, Kirin 655 processor, and was available with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage.

Yesterday, Honor at the Honor V9 launch event announced more variants of the Honor 8 Lite with the option of 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage.

The 3GB RAM/32GB storage model is priced at CNY 1099 ($159 | Rs. 10,700), the 4GB RAM/32GB storage variant costs CNY 1399 ($203 | Rs. 13,600), and the higher 4GB RAM/64GB storage variants is priced CNY 1599 ($232 | Rs. 15,550).

Apart from more storage and RAM, the rest of the specs remain unchanged. The Honor 8 Lite will feature 5.2-inch Full HD display, Kirin 655 processor, 12MP PDAF rear camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE and 3000mAh battery. It runs Android Nougat based EMUI 5.0.

The Honor 8 Lite will be available in China from February 28 in Gold, Blue, Black and White colors.
