Nokia 6 goes global, available in Q2 2017

At the beginning of this year, the Nokia brand was resurrected in the smartphone market, thanks to HMD Global, the company that launched the Nokia 6. Unfortunately the phone was limited to China market, but that's not the case anymore.

Today HMD Global at its Nokia MWC event announced Nokia 6 for the global market. It will be available in Q2 2017 and will be priced at 229 Euros ($241 | Rs. 16,000).

There will be also be a special edition of Nokia 6 in a glossy Arte Black color and will carry a price tag of 299 Euros ($315 | Rs. 21,000). The standard Nokia 6 will come in Matte Black, Tempered Blue, Silver and Copper colors.

To refresh the specs, the Nokia 6 feature 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 430 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 16MP PDAF rear camera, 8MP front camera, 4G LTE, fingerprint scanner and 3000mAh battery. It sports a premium metal unibody design and boots Android Nougat.

The Nokia 6 was a huge success in China, hope it gets the same reception globally.
