Apple's new Clips app lets you create social video for sharing in social networks


Apple yesterday surprised everyone by announcing new 9.7-inch iPad, Red iPhone 7/7Plus and new 32GB and 128GB iPhone SE.

In addition Apple also introduced a new app called Clips. The app lets you create social videos on iPhone and iPad by combining video clips, photos and music. The created video can be shared with friend on social media or messaging apps.

Clips also has a feature called Live Titles, that lets users to create animated caption and titles using their voice, and it will be generated automatically as a users speks, and appear on screen perfectly synced with the user's voice. The app is able to do this in 36 different languages.

You can also apply fun effects like comic book filters, speec bubbles, emojis and shapes. To go with the video, there's also a dozen of music soundtracks to choose, that will automatically adjust to match the length of the videos.

Clips will be available in April as a free app, and will be compatible with iPhone 5s and up, the new 9.7-inch iPad, all iPad Air and iPad Pro models, iPad mini 2 and later, and iPod touch 6th generation provided they run iOS 10.3.
