Leak reveals possible specifications of Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi 6 Plus

Xiaomi is rumored to announce its 2017 flagships— the Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus — in April. Recently a report based on speculation revealed some of the rumored specs and pricing details of the phones.

However, now the alleged full spec sheet of Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus have hit the interweb. If the leak is legit, Xiaomi's upcoming Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus will utilize Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor, instead of the earlier rumored Snapdragon 821 chip. Moreover, the bigger and premium version, that is Mi 6 Plus will sport dual-rear cameras, while the Mi 6 will have single-camera setup.

According to the leaked specs sheet, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will have 5.15-inch Full HD display and come in multiple variants with 4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage options. It will get 19MP Sony IMX400 camera sensor with 1/2.3-inch lens, 8MP front camera and a 3200mAh battery.

The bigger Mi 6 Plus will sport 5.7-inch Full HD display, 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage options and a 4500mAh battery. The dual-camera setup is a 12MP Sony IMX362 sensor, while the selfie duty will be handled by 8MP front camera. Both phones are also rumored to support dual-SIMs, 4G LTE, fingerprint scanner and Android Nougat based MIUI 8.

There's no way to verify the authenticity of the leak, so take it with a pinch of salt. Previous rumors points out that Xiaomi will launch the Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus on April 11, however, Xiaomi is yet to start teasing the phones or confirm a launch date. We'll get to know more in the coming days.
